celtics vs. miami heat. may 28th. game 1.

dear celtics,

how about those ref eh? pretty terrible.

glad we got that game out of our system.

you scored 35 points in one quarter, which makes me confident. i am also confident that we will find a way to defend dwayne wade and our foul shooting will not be as horrific as last night.

this is the eastern conference finals. and last night was a one time deal, right?

love,

casey.

dear game 1 refs,
you suck more than a miami sunburn.

celtics vs. miami heat. may 28th. game 1.

dear celtics,
last year, about a month into moving across the country and starting a new job, I walked into my boss’s office and told him that the celtics were playing the miami heat on saturday night and that I would be attending the game.
if I were still living in boston this would come as no surprise to my boss, who regularly put up with my rants and emotional outbursts concerning the celtics. but last year I lived in seattle.
the $500 round trip plane ticket. plus two $150 game tickets was completely worth it.
it was the game where everyone thought the celtics were down and out. And dwayne wade so lovingly battered rondo’s arm, having him only return with the vengeance of william wallace. it could have been the best game I’ve ever been too. when I think of you playin the heat, I think of that game. and I can’t wait for this series to start.
let’s kill.
